Ron Stoker is the executive director and founder of ISIPS, the International Sharps Injury Prevention Society.   He holds a Masters of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Medical Zoology from Brigham Young University.  Ron has over 21 years of experience in the medical device industry with 6 patents for medical devices. He has participated in the development and marketing of a variety of safety devices. He is a speaker at many national and international seminars and is a frequent author on needlestick and sharps safety. He is asked frequently to assist medical device companies in developing and marketing sharps injury prevention products.  Ron has formed a technology licensing database to assist companies in acquiring and licensing sharps injury prevention products.  He is involved in online education and training of medical devices and procedural training.  Ron also participates on the executive council of a world-wide disaster relief organization whose mission is to save lives and mitigate property damage from natural and man-impacted disasters.
